The Best Burger In The World

The Best Burger In The World

Not in a trillion years did  I ever think I would give away the recipe to the BEST BURGER IN THE WORLD. EVER. People always asked me, “ How can you say it is the best burger in the world?” My response is, ”How can I not? And if I believe it, it must be true.”

This is truly one of my most coveted recipes, and I share it with you to climb the ladder of light to burger heaven. I, fortunately, do not have many memories from my childhood, so my older sister blesses me with tales that come right out of a thriller novel. One of her stories is that I always cooked burgers after school with soy sauce to make the patties a little crunchy and extra caramelized when I pan-fried them. I did not even know we had soy sauce in a somewhat wracked home in Iowa or remember ever eating it. But as fate would have it, and my destiny was designed, I fell madly in love with soy sauce to enhance The Best Burger in the World at the ripe age of 10, in Iowa. What are the chances of that? This recipe has a ton of ingredients and trust me, you will be able to savor and slurp every one of them. This will ruin all other burgers forever.

2 lb ground angus
1 lb ground pork
¼ c soy sauce
½ c toasted onion flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp nutmeg
2 tsp pepper
1 c parmesan ground
1 c sharp cheddar shredded
1 stick of butter melted

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Using clean hands or a sturdy spoon, mix
until just combined—do not overwork the meat. Once evenly mixed, shape into 6-8 oz
patties

Cooking Instructions:
Heat a flattop or heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties onto
The hot surface and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until a golden crust forms.

Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 150–155°F for medium to medium-
well. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Add desired cheese, toppings, and all you love. Stay in touch for my burger cookbook
